Key Responsibilities
  • Protecting Company Assets: Maintain a high level of integrity throughout the sales process to protect our company's branding and assets.
  • Developing Expertise: Develop expertise in areas such as finance, mortgage concepts, product, sales acumen, sales presentation skills, and your local market.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via our CRM system.
  • Inventory Management: Assist the manager in selecting inventory, decorating models, and maintaining the appearance of our homes.
  • Sales and Marketing Strategy: Develop, refine, and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home center traffic.
  • Home Presentations: Present potential buyers with display homes, demonstrate features and benefits to create added value.
  • Scheduling Home Visits: Set home center visits utilizing our prospect database and converting ad calls and web leads to appointments.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in all sales meetings, training opportunities, and other company-sponsored functions.
  • Miscellaneous Duties: Cooperative and collaborative, willing and eager to work in a team environment, assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 6 months of relationship-driven business-to-consumer sales experience.
  • General Understanding: General understanding of the retail environment.
  • Licensing: Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.
  • Legal Compliance: Learn and comply with legal requirements that apply to the sale of manufactured homes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Schedule: Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays.
  • Professionalism: Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons, and move and lift furniture, promotional items, etc. (up to 75 lbs.).
  • Criminal Background Check: Subject to criminal background check and drug screening.
