Position Title: Academic Support Coordinator - School of Physician Assistant Studies

Overview:
The University of Florida's School of Physician Assistant Studies is in search of an Academic Support Coordinator to enhance the academic experience of our students.

Role Summary:
This position collaborates closely with the Director of Didactic Education and the Academic Services Manager to provide essential support for the first-year curriculum and general administrative functions across various academic sectors within the school.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Didactic Support**
- Organize semester schedules and liaise with lecturers for first-year physician assistant courses, including the arrangement of learning activities, assessments, and related events.
- Manage student information and resources within electronic databases and relevant software for the University and the School of PA Studies.
- Oversee student credentialing processes necessary for the didactic year.
- Stay informed about regulations and procedures pertinent to students and academic programs.

2. **Academic Support**
- Facilitate student registration processes.
- Conduct evaluations for academic courses and faculty.
- Input first-year PA student grades into the University grading system, manage grade modifications, and assist with administrative tasks for second-year students as required.
- Procure laboratory supplies for student use.
- Support faculty in course preparation, management, and other university-related processes as needed.
- Maintain electronic records for students and program documentation.

3. **Event Coordination and Administrative Duties**
- Organize orientation for new classes and assist with other departmental events as requested.
- Help process Material & Supply fees, invoices, and travel requests.
- Record minutes during meetings as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary to support the mission of the School of PA Studies.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Familiarity with university registration and grading systems.
