Field Service Technician at Scantron

Scantron, a leader in assessment solutions, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to enhance our service team. In this role, you will engage with a variety of clients across sectors such as education, healthcare, logistics, and retail. Your primary responsibilities will include the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of diverse hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client sites to diagnose and resolve hardware issues
  • Oversee and implement preventative maintenance protocols
  • Support colleagues in different regions as necessary
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their operational needs
  • Collaborate with technical support for complex issues
  • Communicate updates on service status to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain an organized inventory of parts and complete necessary documentation promptly
  • Potentially mentor and train new team members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience or training
  • Possession of a valid state Driver's License
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Physical capability to fulfill all job duties
  • Willingness to travel overnight on occasion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent experience
