Job Summary

D&H Distributing is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our Technology Service Center team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end-users, ensuring that their systems and applications are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide phone and remote support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Install and configure IT equipment, including hardware and software, to meet the needs of our end-users.
  • Utilize our ServiceNow ticketing system to create, assign, and manage technical support requests.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, including applications, operating systems, and peripherals.
  • Deploy and maintain computer systems, IP phones, scanners, and other peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide basic network printing support and ensure that our asset management library is accurate.
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of new applications and operating systems to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Travel to our Distribution Centers as needed to provide technical support and assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, with a strong background in customer service and technical support.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technical environment.
