Position Overview

This full-time on-site role for a Production Manager involves overseeing daily production activities, managing project timelines, liaising with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring the prompt delivery of high-quality projects. The Production Manager will collaborate closely with the creative team and other departments to execute outstanding creative and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, produce, and ensure timely delivery of all agency projects.
  • Supervise in-house Account Executives (AEs) to guarantee accurate and timely job submissions.
  • Work alongside the Creative Department to facilitate timely project completion.
  • Coordinate with the Traffic Manager to assign and modify schedules as needed.
  • Engage with suppliers and freelancers to secure necessary services.
  • Conduct daily meetings with the Creative Department to assess job statuses and workloads.
  • Communicate with the Account Department to address any questions or concerns regarding tasks.
  • Calculate costs for agency services and request estimates from external sources.
  • Ensure optimal value (quality, price, and delivery) for all agency projects.
  • Prepare project estimates and issue purchase orders upon approval.
  • Verify that supplier costs align with the prices stated on purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update the computerized weekly production status report daily (if no Traffic Manager is available).
  • Initiate jobs and prepare client estimates based on briefings from Account Managers and Account Coordinators.
  • Gather competitive quotes from external suppliers.
  • Oversee work completed by suppliers (artists, service bureaus, photographers, printers, production studios, etc.).
  • Proofread internal and external work to ensure it meets specified requirements.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure adherence to promised delivery dates.
  • Forward copies of purchase orders and approved invoices to the business office.
  • Review invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Oversee and/or complete all tasks of the Trafficking Manager.

Qualifications

  • Proven project management, operations management, and production planning skills.
  • Experience in coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Understanding of print production processes and digital advertising.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the marketing or advertising sector is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
