Our mission at MongoDB PS is to facilitate the realization of our clients' visions, expedite their time to value, and support various customer adoption scenarios—ranging from developing new solutions to modernizing existing applications or transitioning to cloud environments. Our consulting services ensure that organizations maximize their MongoDB investment.
Ideal Candidate Profile- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, consulting, or support, ideally across multiple industries.
- Understanding of enterprise-level software architectures, application development practices, and software deployment and operations.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Scala, or Go.
- Experience with database systems including MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and performance tuning; knowledge of Windows tuning is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
- High enthusiasm for a role that merges technical expertise with customer relationship management.
- Confidence in presenting and communicating in client-facing scenarios.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
As a vital member of the MongoDB PS team, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to customer implementations throughout the application lifecycle, including portfolio assessment, planning, design, security evaluation, deployment architecture, development, integration, testing, and optimization.
- Delivering classroom-based training sessions for architects, developers, and operations personnel.
- Collaborating with a broader delivery team consisting of fellow consulting engineers, project managers, and account representatives.
- Establishing your reputation as a trusted advisor within the MongoDB community, guiding both the company and our clients into the future.
- Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap.
- Willingness to travel as needed, with potential travel up to 60% of the time.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
