Omega Bio-tek, Inc. is in search of a proactive and results-oriented sales representative to enhance our team. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying new business prospects, nurturing and growing relationships with significant accounts, and successfully closing sales. Candidates must be located in the Northeast US region or be open to relocation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, oversee, and implement sales strategies and plans to meet quarterly and annual objectives within the Northeast sales territory.
  • Continuously grow and maintain a robust customer base, focusing on major accounts.
  • Relay insights to management regarding market trends.
  • Regularly communicate vital customer information, revenue target updates, and product forecasts with precision.
  • Participate in local and national trade exhibitions.
  • Develop pricing strategies for customers.
  • Present technical product information to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity or experience with workflows involving DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, microarrays, and NGS.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a life science discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be based in the Northeast US region, with a preference for candidates within commuting distance to Boston, MA.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate in a life science field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales experience.
  • Experience in selling genomic products or services.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and the ability to manage extensive technical data and documentation.
  • Knowledge of liquid handling robotics is advantageous.
