Omega Bio-tek, Inc. is on the lookout for a proactive and results-oriented sales professional to enhance our team. In this role, you will focus on uncovering new business prospects, nurturing and growing relationships with significant accounts, and driving sales to completion. Candidates should be based in the Northeast US region or be open to relocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, oversee, and implement sales strategies and plans to meet quarterly and annual objectives within the Northeast sales territory.
  • Continuously develop and expand the customer base, particularly focusing on major accounts.
  • Provide management with insights on market trends and customer feedback.
  • Regularly communicate essential customer information, progress towards revenue targets, and product forecasts with precision.
  • Participate in local and national trade exhibitions.
  • Establish pricing strategies for customers.
  • Deliver technical presentations regarding products to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience or familiarity with workflows involving DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, microarrays, and NGS.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a life science discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be located in the Northeast US region, preferably within driving distance to Boston, MA.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate in a life science field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated sales experience.
  • Experience in selling genomic products or services.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage extensive technical data and documentation.
  • Familiarity with liquid handling robotics is advantageous.
