Omega Bio-tek, Inc. is on the lookout for a proactive and results-oriented sales professional to become part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying new business prospects, nurturing and growing relationships with significant accounts, and successfully closing sales. Candidates must be located in the Northeast US region or be open to relocation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, oversee, and implement sales strategies and plans to meet quarterly and annual objectives within the Northeast sales territory.
  • Continuously develop and expand the customer base, focusing on major accounts.
  • Relay market trend insights and feedback to management.
  • Regularly communicate critical customer information, revenue target updates, and product forecasts with precision.
  • Participate in local and national trade exhibitions.
  • Establish pricing strategies for customers.
  • Deliver technical presentations regarding products to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity or experience with workflows involving DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, microarrays, and NGS.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a life science discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be based in the Northeast US region, preferably within driving distance to major metropolitan areas.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate in a life science field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales experience.
  • Experience in selling genomic products or services is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage extensive technical data and documentation.
  • Knowledge of liquid handling robotics is a plus.
