Position Overview

The role of the National Sales Representative involves collaborating with key accounts to develop effective business strategies and partnerships aimed at fulfilling the company's sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in the identification and acquisition of new National and Regional business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present annual sales targets to key stakeholders.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to enhance sales potential and foster strong relationships.
  • Organize and participate in various trade shows as required.
  • Exhibit strategic thinking capabilities and drive execution towards achieving sales goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to guide strategic planning.
  • Conduct thorough opportunity and risk assessments throughout the year to facilitate necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) snack sector.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with grocery, mass, club, and drug retail environments.
  • Strong organizational, word processing, spreadsheet, and communication skills are essential.
  • Proven experience engaging with National and Regional retailers.
  • A successful history of achieving outstanding sales results.
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales performance metrics and the use of syndicated data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
