Salary:
$100,000 - $175,000 per year About the Company: We are dedicated to equipping educators with cutting-edge technology to nurture the future leaders in STEM fields. We are in search of a Territory Account Executive to attract and maintain relationships with educational institutions (schools and districts) by collaborating with Customer Success, Marketing, and Senior Account Managers. Your role will involve delivering ongoing customer engagement experiences, facilitating quarterly impact assessments, organizing regional events, and conducting regular professional development sessions. This position entails in-person meetings and demonstrations at educational institutions, along with hosting onsite training sessions as required. The Territory Account Executive will also work closely with the Customer Success Team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients and provide support to existing clients during the renewal phase. This role offers a combination of base salary (70,000-100,000 based on experience) plus commission, with a total target compensation ranging from $150,000 to $175,000. - Develop and implement strategies for customer acquisition and retention within designated states.
- Schedule and conduct regular in-person meetings with school and district administrators.
- Organize and lead professional development workshops for educators to enhance the utilization of our products.
- Plan and execute regional events to boost brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Conduct quarterly impact assessments to evaluate customer progress and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success Team to ensure effective onboarding for new clients.
- Provide ongoing support to current clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and progress using CRM software.
- Work closely with Marketing to create and distribute promotional materials and resources.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for onsite sessions.
- Monitor and report on customer satisfaction and product usage, providing insights and recommendations for enhancement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience with K12 Institutions, such as exceeding quotas or KPIs (experience selling a STEM product highly preferred)
5+ years of business development and account management experience
Experience with software product demonstrations
Familiarity with CRMs and other sales technology (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
Existing relationships with school districts
Knowledge of education customers, their organizational structures, and leadership personas
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
