Position Overview

As a National Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in developing and executing business strategies that align with our company's objectives. Your primary focus will be on fostering partnerships and driving sales growth across various regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with accounts to formulate effective business strategies aimed at achieving sales targets.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new national and regional business opportunities.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and present annual sales goals to key buyers.
  • Data Utilization: Leverage data-driven insights to enhance sales opportunities and strengthen relationships.
  • Trade Shows: Organize and participate in trade shows as required.
  • Strategic Thinking: Exhibit the ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to guide strategic decisions.
  • Opportunity Assessment: Lead the evaluation of opportunities and risks throughout the year to facilitate necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) snacks.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with grocery, mass, club, and drug retail sectors.
  • Strong organizational, word processing, spreadsheet, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience engaging with national and regional retailers.
  • A track record of achieving outstanding sales results.
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales performance metrics and experience with syndicated data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
