Job Summary:


Photon is seeking a seasoned Content Management System (CMS) Solutions Architect to spearhead the design and execution of a comprehensive content management framework for our international digital ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of CMS technologies, a robust grasp of digital content strategies, and the capability to develop scalable, adaptable, and user-centric solutions.

This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders worldwide, including content creators, developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure that the CMS effectively serves a diverse global audience.


Key Responsibilities:

CMS Architecture & Design:

Lead the architectural framework of the CMS, ensuring alignment with global business objectives, support for multilingual content, and scalability for future enhancements.


Platform Selection & Customization:

Assess, select, and tailor CMS platforms (such as Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, WordPress, etc.) to meet business requirements and technical specifications.


Integration:

Design and supervise the integration of the CMS with various systems, including CRMs, e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and third-party services, ensuring smooth data exchange and content delivery.


Content Strategy:

Collaborate with content strategists and stakeholders to establish a content model and taxonomy that facilitates efficient content creation, management, and distribution across multiple channels.


Performance Optimization:

Enhance the CMS for optimal performance, including the implementation of caching strategies, load balancing, and effective data storage solutions to guarantee a swift and reliable user experience.


Security & Compliance:

Ensure that the CMS adheres to security best practices and complies with global data protection regulations, such as GDPR.


Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, directing them in CMS best practices, coding standards, and platform-specific development methodologies.


Collaboration:

Work closely with UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and content creators to ensure the CMS delivers a seamless and user-friendly experience.


Governance:
Establish governance frameworks for content management, including user roles, permissions, workflows, and approval processes.

Documentation & Training:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of the CMS architecture, configurations, and processes. Provide training and support to content authors, developers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.


Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software architecture and development, with at least 5 years focused on CMS platforms and content management solutions.


In-depth knowledge of one or more CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal) including architecture, customization, and integration.

Strong experience with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant back-end technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, PHP).

Experience integrating CMS platforms with other enterprise systems, such as CRM, DAM, analytics, and e-commerce solutions.

Expertise in optimizing CMS performance, including strategies for caching, load balancing, and content delivery network (CDN) integration.

Strong understanding of web security practices and data protection regulations, with experience implementing secure CMS solutions.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
