Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Solutions Architect to join our team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strategic mindset to enhance our EDI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine whether to maintain EDI operations in-house or to outsource.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a small team, ensuring effective communication with upper management.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for EDI initiatives, assessing current capabilities and future needs.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in distribution, manufacturing, and third-party logistics (3PL).
  • Proficiency in SQL and the ability to write SQL scripts.
  • Familiarity with EDI systems, particularly with platforms such as OpenText or TrueCommerce.
  • A solid understanding of EDI from both business and technical perspectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage direct reports.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with senior management.
Technical Skills

Applicants should have a robust background in system integration and a clear understanding of B2B processes. Familiarity with the following is essential:

  • Order to cash processes currently implemented.
  • 3PL systems currently in use.
  • Procure to pay processes slated for implementation.

This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to engage in hands-on technical work.
