Sales Equipment Coordinator

The Sales Equipment Coordinator enhances the sales workflow of Malin's collection of pre-owned and rental lift trucks by collaborating closely with Malin's team of field Sales Representatives. Sales Representatives will input leads and inquiries into Malin's sales platform for customer equipment needs; this role will promptly address those inquiries by providing follow-up on details related to pricing and availability of equipment within Malin's pre-owned, rental, or Raymond network inventory to drive equipment sales effectiveness. By employing critical skills in detail orientation, organization, and follow-up, our clients will swiftly benefit from being connected with the equipment that meets their operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently utilize our electronic system (OTIS) to monitor requests entered by Malin's sales team for equipment inquiries and pricing
  • Assess Malin's inventory of trucks/equipment available in our pre-owned, rental, or Raymond network categories
  • Align the customer request with current availability and provide pricing and availability to the Malin Sales Representative
  • Deliver sales pricing, warranty specifications, and freight information to the Sales Representative as follow-up on inquiries
  • Follow up on prior equipment inquiries provided to the Sales Representative to ensure customers do not miss equipment opportunities
  • Manage necessary order documentation to initiate equipment preparation for the customer
  • Coordinate with service center operations to request Malin's in-house Technicians prepare trucks for customer orders; oversee work orders related to truck preparations
  • Collaborate with the logistics team on the timing and delivery of equipment.
  • Proactively track the types of trucks/equipment in inventory, identifying trends such as aged/sitting inventory to create sales opportunities and promotions to accelerate the sale of equipment

Required Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience in sales coordination involving workflows, ordering processes, and fulfillment
  • Professional experience in managing equipment inventory for sale

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Proficiency in navigating online databases, ordering systems, and electronic resources
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven abilities in task or project assistance and coordination
  • Detail-oriented approach to match equipment inquiries with specifications of equipment
  • Organizational skills to ensure all inquiries are addressed promptly; ability to follow up on requests extended to the sales team
