Position Overview:

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity as a Head Chef at a restaurant recognized by the James Beard Foundation. In this role, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage kitchen personnel, and ensure the quality and consistency of the dishes served. You will work closely with the culinary team to design innovative menus, execute food preparation and presentation, and uphold a safe and sanitary kitchen environment. The Head Chef will also play a vital role in menu planning, inventory oversight, and cost management initiatives.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Head Chef or in a comparable position
  • Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
  • Capability to create and implement innovative menus
  • Exceptional leadership and management abilities
  • Skill in managing and training kitchen staff

  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience

  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
