Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sushi Chef with exceptional Omakase experience for a prestigious dining establishment.

Additional Duties:

  • Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team.
  • Guide cooks in the preparation of menu items.

Communication and Compliance:
  • Collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff.

  • Establish and maintain par-stock levels for food inventory.
  • Oversee the ordering and receiving process to guarantee quality and pricing.
  • Accountable for achieving sales, expenses, and profit targets as outlined in the operational budget.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a head Sushi Chef in a luxury setting, such as a resort, hotel, or esteemed sushi restaurant.
  • Culinary school graduate or demonstrated success in a progressive role as a Sous Chef or Chef De Cuisine.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation for various dietary needs and allergies.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Valid ServSafe certification.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with hospitality software is preferred.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift frequently, with the ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
