Position Overview

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a Head Chef to oversee our culinary operations at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will manage the kitchen and service staff to ensure outstanding food quality and guest satisfaction.

Compensation

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $139,300 per year

Alongside the base salary, we provide an annual bonus plan that is contingent on both company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The salary range reflects our current expectations for this position. In exceptional cases, where a candidate possesses qualifications that significantly exceed the job requirements, we may consider a higher salary. Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and lead kitchen and service teams
  • Design and maintain recipes, portion sizes, and standard preparation methods; establish purchasing specifications and budgetary guidelines for all menu items
  • Generate operational reports; identify trends, challenges, and propose solutions for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and health regulations
  • Possess knowledge of invoice tracking, labor management, scheduling, food cost control, labor cost management, inventory oversight, and personnel policies
Required Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, leading culinary establishment, with a total of ten years in the culinary field
  • Culinary Arts degree or certificate preferred; ServSafe and Food Safety Handler certifications are mandatory
  • Strong financial acumen and computer proficiency; experience with P&L statements and budgeting; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule to meet business demands
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate team members while positively influencing their performance
