Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sushi Chef with advanced Omakase expertise for a prestigious dining establishment in Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Duties:
  • Maintain a pristine work environment.
  • Order supplies as necessary, ensuring all ingredients meet the highest quality standards.
  • Exhibit the ability to perform well under pressure while upholding standards.
  • Demonstrate leadership by training and motivating the kitchen team.
  • Guide cooks in the preparation of menu items.
  • Implement preventative maintenance procedures for kitchen equipment.
  • Engage with club members directly during events and daily operations to foster strong relationships.

Communication and Compliance:
  • Effectively communicate with front-of-house staff.
  • Adhere to the highest sanitation and food safety standards as mandated by health regulations.

  • Manage the ordering and receiving process to guarantee quality and pricing.
  • Accountable for achieving sales, expenses, and profit goals as outlined in the operational budget.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a head Sushi Chef in a luxury setting, such as a resort, hotel, or reputable sushi restaurant.
  • Culinary school graduate or proven success in a progressive role as a Sous Chef or Chef De Cuisine.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation for various dietary needs and allergies.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
  • Valid ServSafe certification.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with hospitality software is preferred.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift frequently.
  • Able to lift weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds.
