Position Overview
This role within Teva's Generic marketing division is pivotal for leading and executing strategic marketing initiatives for non-traditional generics.
Managing a varied product portfolio, you will collaborate with a skilled cross-functional team to craft innovative marketing strategies, primarily through non-personal promotion, to distinguish Teva in the generic marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Formulate and convey a comprehensive strategy. Identify unrecognized business needs and opportunities.
Leverage market insights, category trends, competitor actions, and in-market performance to analyze and pinpoint key segments, growth prospects, and priorities, particularly within the specialty pharmacy sector.
Innovation and Advancement:
Recognize markets and products in Teva's generic pipeline that necessitate non-traditional marketing approaches for success. Develop and implement innovative go-to-market strategies and marketing plans utilizing non-personal promotional methods, including market access initiatives.
Financial Management:
Operate with a financial perspective and comprehension. Oversee departmental budgets. Identify opportunities to enhance product P&L where directly accountable. Utilize internal and external resources as necessary.
Focus and Value Creation:
Collaborate with colleagues to establish and apply analytical measures. Evaluate the effectiveness of plans and tactics through ROI and other success metrics.
Excellence in Execution:
Demonstrate project planning capabilities. Define objectives, adhere to deadlines, and promote efficiency and effectiveness. Proficient in implementing strategies across diverse channels, groups, and therapeutic areas.
Communication and Connection:
Exhibit the ability to communicate seamlessly across all organizational levels. Develop and present marketing objectives, budgets, and priorities. Motivate others to adopt and execute new concepts. Strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Business Insight:
As relevant to the role, extend initiatives beyond your immediate area. Extract insights from various sources and personal market knowledge. Proficient in different types of market research and insights, interpreting results and acting on them. Familiarity with the digital marketing landscape is essential.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or relevant brand management experience.
Preferred:
Experience in Generic and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) marketing/commercial operations. Pharmaceutical experience outside of the marketing function.
Experience with non-personal promotion/digital marketing. A Master's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
