The Role:
This position within Teva's Generic Marketing team is pivotal for steering and implementing strategic marketing initiatives for non-traditional generics.
Managing a varied product portfolio, you will collaborate with a skilled cross-functional team to create innovative marketing solutions that set Teva apart in the generic marketplace, primarily through non-personal promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
Formulate and convey a comprehensive marketing strategy. Identify unrecognized business needs and opportunities. Utilize market insights, category trends, competitor analysis, and performance metrics to pinpoint key segments and growth prospects, particularly in the specialty pharmacy domain. - Innovation and Advancement:
Recognize markets and products within Teva's generic pipeline that necessitate non-traditional marketing approaches for success. Develop and implement creative go-to-market strategies and marketing plans leveraging non-personal promotional methods, including market access initiatives. - Financial Management:
Maintain a financial perspective and understanding. Oversee departmental budgets and identify opportunities to enhance product profitability where applicable. Utilize both internal and external resources effectively. - Focus on Value:
Collaborate with colleagues to establish and apply analytical metrics. Assess the effectiveness of marketing plans and tactics through ROI and other success indicators. - Excellence in Execution:
Demonstrate project management capabilities. Set clear objectives, adhere to deadlines, and promote efficiency and effectiveness. Skilled in executing strategies across various channels, groups, and therapeutic areas. - Communication and Connection:
Exhibit strong communication skills across all organizational levels. Develop and present marketing objectives, budgets, and priorities. Motivate others to adopt and implement innovative ideas while strengthening relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Business Insight:
Take initiatives that extend beyond your immediate responsibilities. Extract insights from diverse sources and personal market knowledge. Proficient in various market research methodologies and capable of interpreting results and acting on them. Familiarity with the digital marketing landscape is essential.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or relevant brand management.
Preferred:
Experience in Generic and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) marketing/commercial operations. Pharmaceutical experience outside of marketing functions. Familiarity with non-personal promotion and digital marketing. A Master's Degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
