The Role
This position within Teva's Generic Marketing division is pivotal for leading and executing strategic marketing initiatives for non-traditional generics.
Managing a varied product portfolio, you will collaborate with a skilled cross-functional team to devise innovative marketing strategies, primarily leveraging non-personal promotion to distinguish Teva in the generic marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Formulate and articulate a comprehensive marketing strategy. Identify unmet business needs and opportunities.
Utilize market intelligence, category trends, competitor analysis, and performance metrics to pinpoint key segments, growth avenues, and priorities, particularly within the specialty pharmacy sector.
Innovation and Advancement:
Recognize markets and products within Teva's generic pipeline that necessitate non-traditional marketing approaches for success. Develop and implement creative go-to-market strategies and marketing plans employing non-personal promotional tactics, including market access initiatives.
Financial Management:
Operate with a financial perspective and acumen. Oversee departmental budgets. Identify opportunities to enhance product profitability where directly accountable. Utilize internal and external resources effectively.
Focus and Value:
Collaborate with colleagues to create and apply analytical metrics. Assess the effectiveness of marketing plans and tactics through ROI and other performance indicators.
Excellence in Execution:
Demonstrate strong project management skills. Define objectives, adhere to timelines, and promote efficiency and effectiveness. Proficient in executing strategies across various channels, teams, and therapeutic areas.
Communication and Connection:
Exhibit the ability to communicate seamlessly across all organizational levels. Develop and present marketing objectives, budgets, and priorities. Motivate others to adopt and implement innovative ideas. Strengthen relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Business Insight:
As relevant to the role, take initiatives that extend beyond your immediate responsibilities. Extract insights from diverse sources and personal market knowledge. Proficient in various market research methodologies and interpreting results to inform actions. Familiarity with the digital marketing landscape.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or relevant brand management experience.
Preferred:
Experience in Generic and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) marketing/commercial operations. Pharmaceutical experience outside of marketing functions.
Experience with non-personal promotion/digital marketing. A Master’s Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
