Position Overview:The Director of Market Access Operations will oversee the establishment and management of a customer service and reimbursement hub, as well as specialty pharmacy services for healthcare providers and patients.
This role will serve as the subject matter expert for HUB services related to all Pacira products, working collaboratively to navigate the healthcare landscape and facilitate access to essential information, support, treatment, and services.
Key Responsibilities:The following responsibilities outline the primary functions of this position:
- Develop and manage a reimbursement/access hub to deliver appropriate access services to healthcare prescribers and patients, including the creation and oversight of performance metrics.
- Manage access-related initiatives, such as charitable access and financial assistance programs.
- Collaborate with the Market Access Operations team to lead initiatives and vendors, driving progress towards program objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support the Senior Director in enhancing HUB support services.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of program materials, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training resources.
- Oversee and deliver internal training by creating and maintaining comprehensive training materials in collaboration with the Learning & Development team.
- Support field team members with HUB services education, onboarding, and training for healthcare provider customers.
- Provide daily assistance to the Market Access and HUB operations teams to manage case escalations and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with other commercial team members to achieve shared business objectives.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Collaboration:This role will require close interaction with various internal departments, including Marketing, Learning & Development, Field Sales, Market Access, Strategic Accounts, and Medical Affairs, as well as external consultants.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- 5-7 years of experience in access and distribution within a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
- 5-7 years of experience managing relationships with external access partners.
- A proven track record of operational excellence.
- Experience in access for medical benefit and/or physician-administered products, with pharmacy benefit experience preferred.
- Experience in market access for product launches.
