Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Product Manager specializing in medical devices to lead the expansion of the Hall Power segment within the U.S. Orthopedics market.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee both global upstream product development and downstream market strategies in the U.S. Your primary objective will be to enhance the growth of your product portfolio, allowing you the flexibility to shape your initiatives and strategies. Effective collaboration with various business partners across the organization is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

U.S. Commercial Marketing:

  • Develop and refine a marketing funnel to elevate customer awareness of your product line. Establish metrics to monitor the generation of sales opportunities stemming from marketing efforts. Integrate digital marketing strategies and collaborate with the Corporate Marketing Communications team to implement campaigns, assessing their effectiveness and driving enhancements.
  • Create promotional, educational, and clinical support materials to bolster both existing and newly launched products.
  • Work alongside Sales and Finance teams to devise and execute pricing strategies and promotional programs for both new and existing products, aligning with corporate financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales leaders and Health Care Systems managers to drive IDN conversion initiatives for the Hall Power portfolio, supporting GPO & IDN RFPs through competitive pricing analysis.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to inform product positioning and develop sales training and educational resources.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders to establish a personal advisory network and support the creation of medical education strategies and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, S&OP, Quality, Regulatory, Customer Experience, and Manufacturing, to ensure the commercial success of the assigned portfolio.
  • Occasionally engage with surgeons and sales representatives in operating room settings to promote CONMED's products.
  • Attend major conventions to connect with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage assigned expenses within budgetary constraints.

Global Upstream Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a core team member for New Product Development (NPD), supporting marketing deliverables as dictated by external regulatory entities.
  • Analyze market research data to identify trends, market shifts, and unmet needs, developing strategies for the growth of the Hall Power portfolio and a multigenerational product pipeline.
  • Lead product portfolio optimization initiatives for your designated product area.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in successful marketing roles within the medical device sector.
  • Travel requirements may vary based on location.
  • Ability to engage with customers in healthcare settings and participate in credentialing processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the specific market segment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing principles and tools.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and contribute to interdisciplinary teams with successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated capacity to execute projects within established timelines and budgets.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
