Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Test Technician, your primary role will be to deliver technical assistance to engineers and scientists regarding intricate components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment.
Key Duties Include:
- Providing expert technical support to engineering and scientific teams on complex components and devices.
- Interpreting detailed wiring and assembly schematics, operational documents, engineering specifications, and safety protocols.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards as per State and Federal guidelines while maintaining necessary certifications.
- Facilitating the training of new team members and collaborating with various departments to optimize information and material flow.
- Diagnosing and addressing electrical, optical, or mechanical issues, conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, and modifying intricate electrical prototypes to rectify functional discrepancies.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED; a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Strong decision-making and leadership capabilities, with experience handling delicate components following ESD practices.
- Proficiency in soldering, wire bonding, and safe chemical handling.
- Familiarity with Access, Excel, and LabVIEW; experience with MRP systems and good mechanical aptitude are advantageous.
- Eligibility for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Weekly pay periods.
- 401k matching up to 5%.
