Position: Senior Test Technician – 1st Shift

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Test Technician, your primary role will be to deliver technical assistance to engineers and scientists regarding intricate components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment.

Key Duties Include:

  • Providing expert technical support to engineering and scientific teams on complex components and devices.
  • Interpreting detailed wiring and assembly schematics, operational documents, engineering specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards as per State and Federal guidelines while maintaining necessary certifications.
  • Facilitating the training of new team members and collaborating with various departments to optimize information and material flow.
  • Diagnosing and addressing electrical, optical, or mechanical issues, conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, and modifying intricate electrical prototypes to rectify functional discrepancies.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED; a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Strong decision-making and leadership capabilities, with experience handling delicate components following ESD practices.
  • Proficiency in soldering, wire bonding, and safe chemical handling.
  • Familiarity with Access, Excel, and LabVIEW; experience with MRP systems and good mechanical aptitude are advantageous.
