Position Overview

Fabletics is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Operations Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team.

Your Role

As the Retail Operations Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager and collaborating with a fellow Supervisor to ensure an exceptional retail experience. Utilizing innovative technology, you will facilitate a seamless shopping experience for our Customers across both online and physical store platforms. Working closely with the Store Manager, another supervisor, and a group of friendly associates, you will help our Customers pursue their passions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, energetic individual who enjoys engaging with the public. You will become part of a close-knit team committed to achieving ambitious goals and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exemplify our core values and culture through a strong sense of accountability, serving as a role model for team members.
  • Assist the Store Manager and peer Supervisor in training store Associates, preparing them to engage Customers in innovative ways.
  • Enhance Customer interaction both inside and outside the store, including events, promotions, and community initiatives.
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring alignment with Company and Store objectives.
  • Communicate inventory and training requirements to the Store Manager to elevate the overall Customer experience.
  • Uphold merchandising standards that simplify the shopping experience and enhance the Customer's purchasing journey.
  • Actively contribute feedback from all organizational levels to foster continuous improvement.
  • Aim for excellence in meeting and surpassing Store performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality benchmarks.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for product information to Customers and team members.
  • Achieve personal sales targets and maintain sales performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, identifying and reporting potential issues.
  • Assist with inventory unpacking as needed, handling boxes weighing between 10-30 lbs.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail setting; prior management experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as Yoga, Cycling, Pilates, Weight Training, and Nutrition.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with Customers, Employees, and Business Partners.
  • Experience working collaboratively within large teams.
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking initiative when opportunities arise.
  • Knowledge of retail inventory and POS systems.
  • Self-driven with excellent communication skills and a talent for motivating others.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and perform well under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical requirements include frequent movement, communication, and standing for extended periods.
