Position Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily store functions while ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures. This position provides leadership, direction, and training to the store team, stepping in for the Store Manager when necessary. The Supervisor is dedicated to achieving and surpassing established sales, service, and operational goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Employee and Customer Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of both staff and customers.
  • Customer Experience: Develop and maintain an exceptional shopping environment. Uphold service standards and provide training to team members. Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Transaction Management: Ensure all point-of-sale transactions comply with company policies, including sales, discounts, and refunds.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory control processes, including shipping and receiving, price adjustments, and conducting physical inventories.
  • Merchandising and Presentation: Ensure compliance with company standards for merchandise placement and sales floor maintenance, including promotional displays.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee scheduling and ensure adherence to payroll budget guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate the training and development of team members, ensuring the use of available training resources and reinforcement of operational standards.
  • Loss Prevention: Uphold policies and procedures to protect company assets.
  • Operational Understanding: Strive for a comprehensive understanding of daily operational management.

Essential Relationships
Engage with customers, sales associates, store management, and regional personnel to foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven managerial and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Solid visual merchandising capabilities.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency.
