Position Overview:

As a key member of our Product Security division, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our product development processes, fortifying our service and application architectures, and executing your strategy for a secure software development lifecycle.

Our web applications and services are prime targets for cyber threats - you will be at the forefront, tasked with safeguarding our advanced large language models, user information, and brand integrity by preventing unauthorized access to our systems.


Key Responsibilities:


Designing and executing strategies to comprehensively secure our products, including mobile applications for iOS and Android, web applications, and the supporting web servicesImplementing framework-level defenses against recurring application vulnerabilitiesPromoting and advocating for a robust secure software development lifecycleIntegrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines to automate secure development practicesIncorporating security considerations into product design to ensure new features are built with security as a priorityCoordinating security evaluations of product features, including regular penetration testing and overseeing our bug bounty initiatives

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in application or product security
  • Knowledge of common web application and web service attack vectors and their countermeasures
  • Capability to understand and contribute to complex codebases
  • Experience in articulating and implementing a secure software development lifecycle in a dynamic startup environment
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
  • Proficiency in common web application frameworks and system design patterns
  • Understanding of CI/CD workflows
  • Expertise in Linux server environments with comfort in the Linux command line
  • Experience in architecting secure system designs to meet scalable product requirements
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts
  • A proven ability to work independently to identify and resolve issues

Outstanding candidates may also have:

  • Experience managing bug bounty programs
  • Familiarity with common vulnerabilities in mobile applications
  • Hands-on experience with product feature development
  • Knowledge of technologies such as React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, NextJS, Python, Django, Flask, or Golang

Compensation Range:
$150K - $350K
