Key Responsibilities:


Designing and implementing comprehensive strategies to enhance the security of our products, including mobile applications for iOS and Android, web applications, and the supporting web services.Developing framework-level defenses against common application vulnerabilities. Advocating for a thorough secure software development lifecycle. Integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines to automate secure development practices. Collaborating with product design teams to ensure that new features are conceived with security as a priority from the outset. Overseeing security evaluations of product features, including routine penetration testing and managing our bug bounty initiatives.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in application or product security.
  • Knowledge of prevalent web application and web service attack vectors and their countermeasures.
  • The ability to comprehend and contribute to complex codebases.
  • Experience in articulating and executing a secure software development lifecycle in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
  • Proficiency in common web application frameworks and system design patterns.
  • A solid understanding of CI/CD workflows.
  • Expertise in Linux server environments with a strong command of the Linux command line interface.
  • Experience in architecting secure system designs that meet scalable product requirements.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts.
  • A proven ability to work independently to identify and resolve issues.

Preferred Qualifications:
Outstanding candidates may also have:

  • Experience managing bug bounty programs.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities in mobile applications.
  • Hands-on experience with product feature development.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, NextJS, Python, Django, Flask, or Golang.
