Developing and executing strategies to comprehensively secure our products, including mobile applications for iOS and Android, web applications, and the supporting web servicesImplementing framework-level defenses against common application vulnerabilitiesPromoting and advocating for a robust secure software development lifecycleIntegrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines to automate secure development practicesCollaborating with product design teams to ensure security is embedded in new features from inceptionCoordinating security evaluations of product functionalities, including regular penetration testing and overseeing our bug bounty initiatives
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in application or product security
- Knowledge of prevalent web application and web service attack vectors and their countermeasures
- Ability to comprehend and contribute to complex codebases
- Experience in articulating and implementing a secure software development lifecycle in a dynamic startup environment
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
- Experience with common web application frameworks and architectural patterns
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows
- Proficiency in Linux server environments with strong command-line skills
- Experience in designing secure systems to meet scalable product requirements
- Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts
- A proven ability to work independently to identify and resolve issues
Preferred Qualifications:
Outstanding candidates may also have:
- Experience managing bug bounty programs
- Knowledge of common mobile application vulnerabilities
- Hands-on experience with product feature development
- Familiarity with technologies such as React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, NextJS, Python, Django, Flask, or Golang
