We are seeking a talented professional to become a part of Meta's Product Security division as a Security Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will be tasked with executing comprehensive security assessments of various offerings within the Meta portfolio, including platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, and Portal. Your responsibilities will include not only pinpointing security weaknesses but also advising developers on best practices for secure software development and creating automated tools to enhance security measures across all platforms. This position is vital in protecting the online safety and privacy of millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough manual security evaluations of Meta's products and services
- Provide expert guidance to developers on secure coding methodologies
- Design and implement automated analysis tools and secure coding frameworks
- Investigate and apply strategies to mitigate potential vulnerabilities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Proven experience in identifying vulnerabilities in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and prevalent security vulnerabilities
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment
