Key Responsibilities:


Developing and executing strategies to comprehensively secure our products, including mobile applications for iOS and Android, web applications, and the supporting web servicesImplementing framework-level defenses against common application vulnerabilitiesPromoting and advocating for a robust secure software development lifecycleIntegrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines to automate secure development practicesCollaborating with product design teams to ensure that new features are developed with security considerations from the outsetOverseeing security evaluations of product features, including regular penetration testing and managing our bug bounty initiatives.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in application or product security
  • Knowledge of prevalent web application and web service attack vectors and their countermeasures
  • The ability to comprehend and contribute to complex codebases
  • Experience in establishing and executing a secure software development lifecycle in a dynamic startup environment
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
  • Proficiency in common web application frameworks and system design patterns
  • Understanding of CI/CD workflows
  • Expertise in Linux server environments with strong command-line skills
  • Experience in designing secure systems to meet scalable product requirements
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts
  • A proven ability to work independently to identify and resolve issues

Outstanding candidates may also have:
Experience managing bug bounty programs, knowledge of common mobile application vulnerabilities, direct experience in product feature development, and familiarity with technologies such as React, React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, NextJS, Python, Django, Flask, or Golang.

$150K - $350K
