About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our Human Resources team at Highgate Hotels Corporate Office in TX. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to the EVP, SVP of HR, and VP of Talent Management, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to senior leadership, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including processing paperwork, IT tickets, and updating HR contact lists.
  • Employee Relations: Support employee relations by maintaining employee files, records, and conducting reference and background checks.
  • Travel Arrangements: Book travel arrangements for executives and candidates, ensuring timely and efficient travel planning.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including monthly reports and HR metrics.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on business administration or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Travel Experience: Heavy travel booking experience, with the ability to manage multiple itineraries and travel arrangements.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and deadlines.
