Job Overview

Position Summary:

Darling Ingredients Inc. is in search of a Payroll/401K/Kronos Analyst to enhance our IT department. This role will be pivotal in providing both functional and technical design, guidance, and assistance to our corporate Payroll operations. The Analyst will also play a significant role in the functional and technical deployment of existing and new Payroll, 401K, Kronos, and associated third-party applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver functional and technical assistance to corporate Payroll operations.
  • Serve as the primary support for Payroll, 401K, and Kronos, implementing configuration changes as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and support all Payroll-related integrations with Oracle HCM.
  • Analyze, design, and create solutions for enhancements to ADP, Kronos, or Oracle HCM.
  • Provide documentation and training to end users on both existing functionalities and newly developed enhancements.
  • Conduct quality assurance and regression testing for all relevant ADP, Kronos, and related application upgrades.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR and Payroll teams to optimize, document, and enhance existing and new processes utilizing Oracle HCM and third-party software solutions such as ADP and Kronos.
  • Document and communicate functional and technical requirements for system enhancements and reporting/data needs to the IT development team.
  • Ensure quality assurance and testing on newly developed customizations and reports prior to deployment.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and data extracts to fulfill ongoing or one-time business requirements using available tools (e.g., BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, EiS, Toad).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years of overall experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in implementing and/or supporting applications such as ADP, Oracle HCM, Workday, Peoplesoft, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with Oracle modules: HCM, Benefits, and Payroll is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL; techno-functional skills are advantageous.

Additional Relevant Experience:

  • Experience with Oracle modules: HR, Benefits, and Workforce Compensation.
  • Background in 401K.
  • Experience with ADP and Kronos.
