About the Role:

JBA International is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Case Manager to oversee personal injury cases. This role is essential for ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support throughout their legal journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee intricate personal injury cases from start to finish.
  2. Conduct thorough investigations, gather pertinent evidence, interview key witnesses, and arrange medical assessments.
  3. Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates on case developments and addressing any questions.
  4. Work collaboratively with attorneys to devise case strategies and prepare for litigation.
  5. Analyze medical records, bills, and other documentation to evaluate damages and negotiate settlements effectively.
  6. Draft and submit legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, and motions.
  7. Coordinate with medical professionals, insurance representatives, and other involved parties.
  8. Guide and mentor junior case managers, offering support and direction.
  9. Ensure organized and current case files are maintained within the firm's case management system.
  10. Participate in mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings as required.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing personal injury cases, ideally within a legal or insurance context.
  2. In-depth understanding of personal injury law and associated legal processes.
  3. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple cases concurrently.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective interactions with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.
  5. Proficient in utilizing case management software and various legal tools.
  6. Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy in all tasks.
  7. Able to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  8. Strong negotiation capabilities and a proven ability to advocate for clients effectively.
