Lead Case Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Senior Case Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing intricate personal injury cases, ensuring they are managed efficiently from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage intricate personal injury cases from initiation through to resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather pertinent evidence, interview relevant parties, and coordinate necessary medical assessments.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates on case developments and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys to formulate case strategies and prepare for litigation.
- Review medical documentation, invoices, and other relevant materials to evaluate damages and negotiate settlements effectively.
- Prepare and submit legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, and motions.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance entities, and other involved parties.
- Guide and mentor junior case managers, offering support and direction.
- Ensure that case files are organized and up-to-date within the firm's case management system.
- Participate in mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing personal injury cases, ideally within a legal or insurance context.
- Comprehensive understanding of personal injury law and associated legal processes.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple cases concurrently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective interactions with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.
- Proficient in utilizing case management software and various legal tools.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Possess strong negotiation skills and the capacity to advocate effectively for clients.
