Job Summary

The University of Washington is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director for Development to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position that will play a critical role in advancing the university's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to raise funds for the School of Law's academic programs, faculty, and students.
  • Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and cultivate relationships with alumni and friends to secure significant gifts.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to develop and implement fundraising initiatives and events.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the development team to ensure successful fundraising efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in development, with a focus on major gifts and alumni relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, faculty, and staff.
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising and development, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of philanthropy.
