Job Title: Development Director

Scarecrow Video is seeking a highly skilled Development Director to lead its fundraising efforts. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and growing the organization's contributed income program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund development, with a proven track record of leading successful fundraising campaigns and building relationships with major donors and corporate executives. You will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and foundation and government grantors.
  • Manage and mentor a part-time Development Assistant.
  • Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to promote the organization's mission and programs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of broad-based fund development experience.
  • Proven track record of leading successful fundraising campaigns and building relationships with major donors and corporate executives.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 DOE.
