Job Summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Quality Control department in Asphalt and Paving Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with various divisions, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Quality Control department, including maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and communicating with various stakeholders.
  • Quality Control Document Management: Organize, maintain, and update Quality Control documents and records, including an organized archive system.
  • Test Result Tracking: Track and record all daily test results related to asphalt and paving operations, including straightedge, cross slope, densities, etc.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with different divisions to facilitate edits or revisions to Quality Control reports.
  • Report Preparation: Assist in the preparation of Quality Control-related correspondence, memos, reports, and presentations, which may require gathering data from various internal and/or external sources.
  • Proofreading and Editing: Proofread content for accuracy and established formatting standards.
  • Document Distribution: Copy, scan, and distribute Quality Control documents as needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Office 365 productivity suite.
  • FDOT Experience: Experience with FDOT templates and requirements preferred.
  • Bluebeam Software Knowledge: Knowledge of Bluebeam software preferred.
