About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at the Bellevue Club Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and presentation of all menu items in our main kitchen, as well as our Splash kitchen, Polaris restaurant, Splash restaurant, Luna to-go food, Room Service, and Banquets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu concepts and specials.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and receiving, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless service during peak periods, including banquets and special events.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
