About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, food safety, and sanitation.
  • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure excellent service and food quality.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and culinary concepts.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure profitability.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position in a high-volume food service establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
