Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at King's Seafood Company, Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and labor costs to ensure that they are within budget.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items and promotions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a sous chef or executive sous chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff and operations.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
