Position Summary

RFMX is in search of a proactive and seasoned Sales and Marketing Executive to enhance our team. This role is crucial for our expansion and will hold a significant position within the organization. The selected candidate will spearhead sales initiatives, formulate marketing strategies, and ensure the fulfillment of sales objectives and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Marketing Strategy: Implement and co-create comprehensive sales and marketing strategies.
  • Target Development: Identify and cultivate daily targets to secure essential meetings and generate business opportunities.
  • Quota Management: Comprehend and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
  • Profit Margin Awareness: Maintain knowledge of the gross profit margin required to support sales initiatives.
  • Lead Generation: Create thorough strategies to identify leads and target markets in sectors such as home materials, construction supplies, renewable energy technologies, air freight logistics, and retail.
  • KPI Monitoring: Review and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) during weekly sales meetings, including call schedules, lead interactions, meetings, revenue per transaction, and other relevant metrics.
  • Credit Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with established credit policies.
  • Sales Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for all sales prospects and adhere to company policies regarding minimum gross profit on all proposals.
  • Customer Engagement: Ensure effective communication with customers to meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Operations, CFO, and General Manager on pricing and marketing strategies.
  • Professional Development: Participate in trade shows, seminars, and meetings to enhance professional knowledge and represent the company.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated on technical knowledge related to the business, products, and services.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the VP of Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 10 years in sales and marketing, with a minimum of 3 years demonstrating enhanced performance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the transportation sector is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional Affiliations: Active membership in relevant professional trade associations is advantageous.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $50,000/year
  • Commission: Expected to exceed $50,000/year
  • Total Expected Compensation: $100,000+/year
  • Ramp-Up Period: Guaranteed minimum income of $50,000 for the first 6 months, which includes a $20,000 draw against future commissions.
  • Draw Repayment: $20,000 draw to be repaid from future commissions over the subsequent 12 months.
