About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Program Manager to join our Camera Enabling Technologies team at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the design and development of early exploration platforms and technology building blocks that enable and influence product architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive project definition, resource management, milestones, and timelines.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure necessary project support and prioritization.
  • Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication for an organization that's internationally located.
  • Grasp complex technical topics and abstract key issues and risks into an actionable form for executive management.
  • Constantly engage in proactive risk management, and effectively communicate status and issues to the development team and Apple executives.
  • Ability to travel internationally to support technology center and vendor activities.
Requirements
  • Experience working with early technology development and consumer product life cycles.
  • BS degree in engineering field + 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exceptional program management and leadership skills: rigorous and proactive approach to orchestration of program plans, schedule estimates, and definition and management of project goals.
  • In-depth technical engineering knowledge to effectively establish and manage projects especially through the early ambiguous definition phases, assess and drive technical risks, and critically challenge engineering decisions.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple global teams and vendors.
  • Ability to bring focus and transparency to complex situations while monitoring the bigger picture and the needs of a rapid development cycle.
  • Skilled at handling accountability without control, knowing how to identify and drive priorities from among the multiple issues competing for your attention.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of imaging system design and/or camera key parts design, and subcomponents.
What We Offer

At Apple, we offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes base pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. You will also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs.
