Responsibilities

Assessing advanced pixel technologies from international image sensor manufacturers. Partnering with global image sensor suppliers to innovate new image sensors tailored for diverse applications. Engaging with both internal and external teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate testing is conducted at every phase to confirm performance standards. Documenting and sharing your findings with both internal and external engineering teams. Collaborating across functions to advance next-generation camera products and features.

Essential Qualifications
  • Experience in image sensor pixel and sensor development, including sensor characterization, bring-up, debugging, or wafer-level testing.
  • Familiarity with image sensor technology, performance metrics, usage, and integration into camera systems.
  • Awareness of current industry trends and technical challenges.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sensor applications to effectively support the camera team.
  • Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, sensor characterization, and troubleshooting. Ability to innovate and create unique solutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB, Excel, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proven teamwork and leadership abilities.
Education & Experience

A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of relevant industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is just one aspect of our comprehensive compensation package, determined within a specified range. This structure allows for growth as you develop within your role. The base pay range for this position is between $143,100 and $264,200, influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs. Eligible employees can receive discretionary restricted stock unit awards and may purchase Apple stock at a discount through our Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additional benefits include: extensive medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, a variety of discounted products and services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses related to career advancement at Apple. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments, as well as relocation assistance.
