Sales Manager

Position is located in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
A locally owned and operated business in the Brainerd Lakes Area is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their retail location. If you have a passion for sales, understand appliances, HVAC, or a combination of both, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of retail sales workers.
- Adjust daily schedules for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Train and evaluate employees.
- Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints.
Qualifications:
- Previous management experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Detail to bring to weekly meetings with other managers and owners.
- Strong computer abilities/can learn the software, run reports, work excel etc.
- Be able to sell themselves as this will be selling/active sales manager.
- 5-day weeks, some Saturdays as needed.
- Willing to learn and cross sell with multiple departments and product offerings
- Detail and task oriented.
- Willingness to hold the sales staff accountable on numbers, ASP, close rates and more.
- Hire, Discipline & Terminate as needed.
- Work with upset customers to resolve the issues as a team across the whole business
- Watch profitability of all products to make sure we are making the margins needed.
- Position will be a large base and commission.
