Join Our SLED Team:

As a Lead Systems Consultant, you will serve as a key technical advisor within WWT's State and Local Government Education (SLED) team, specifically targeting clients in the Sacramento area. Your role will be pivotal in helping these essential organizations navigate their technology needs with tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical consulting for customized IT solutions, including Data Center management, Infrastructure Modernization, Multi-Cloud strategies, Security enhancements, and Digital Transformation initiatives.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for clients, ensuring the successful integration of WWT's complex product offerings.
  • Design and architect network infrastructure to meet client specifications.
  • Collaborate with Client Managers and partner with OEMs and internal teams to drive successful business outcomes.
  • Assist in the creation of Statements of Work and Bill of Materials to facilitate project execution.
  • Estimate labor requirements for Professional Services engagements.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Sales within the relevant industry, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies and an active Cisco Certified Network Associate or higher certification; CCIE is preferred.
  • Proven track record in a technical consulting role, with experience in System Engineering or similar positions.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, particularly within the Sacramento SLED market.
  • Experience in supporting enterprise network environments, focusing on Data Center, Infrastructure Modernization, Multi-Cloud, Security, and Digital Transformation technologies.
  • Strong consulting skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales, engineering teams, and OEM partners.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong presentation and customer service abilities.
  • A robust work ethic and a collaborative mindset are essential.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Candidates must reside in the Sacramento area and be open to travel as required.
