Position Title: Systems Engineer I

Core Responsibilities:

  • Utilize control software applications effectively
  • Create databases informed by operational sequences
    • Including VAV's, FCU's, and AHU's
  • Recognize mechanical equipment on architectural layouts
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to commission projects
  • Complete necessary commissioning documentation
  • Identify mechanical equipment on-site
    • Such as Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, AHU's, FCU's, VAV's, and EF's
  • Assess equipment deficiencies
  • Comprehend electrical control circuits
    • Including Controller I/O and 24VAC power
  • Grasp networking principles
  • Coordinate efforts with electrical teams
  • Understand the contractual scope of work

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including 2 years as an automation technician
  • Familiarity with HVAC control systems
  • Ability to interface with clients and contractors at a managerial level
  • Engineering expertise in electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and programming
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient in computer skills and controls networking
  • Possession of a valid driver's license

Compensation Range: $33 - $40 Per Hour
