Job Summary

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Supervisor to join our team at Caritas Management Corporation. As a Property Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 6 to 8 affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing exceptional service to our residents and owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage Standard Operating Procedures and annual Management Plans for assigned properties.
  • Monitor and approve property expenditures in accordance with the Charts of Accounts and Operating Budgets.
  • Perform financial analysis and communicate effectively with owners regarding financial reports.
  • Submit periodic financial and other monitoring reports as required.
  • Draft annual Operating Budgets and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain safety and emergency plans for assigned properties.
  • Represent owners and Caritas Management Corporation in court, as needed.
  • Implement comprehensive resident relations programs and develop and implement preventative and ongoing maintenance plans.
  • Prepare competitive bid packages, including specifications, and review, negotiate, and approve bids in accordance with Caritas Management Corporation procedures.
  • Implement energy conservation measures and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Three years of progressively responsible residential property management experience and familiarity with affordable housing management.
  • One-year supervisory experience of more than 200 units.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid California driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree.
  • Training and experience in HUD and Tax Credit programs.
  • CPM, NAHP, or similar certification.
