Location: Armstrong Place Senior - BRIDGE Housing

Position Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the routine, weekly, and monthly responsibilities related to the upkeep and repair of the property and individual living units. The maintenance team is expected to uphold BRIDGE Property Management Company's exceptional standards to ensure the property is consistently presented in excellent condition, providing residents with a secure, safe, and well-maintained environment. This role requires being on-call, meaning there will be occasions when attendance is necessary outside of regular hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of:
    • residential units, including turnovers involving waste disposal systems, plumbing fixtures, locks, painting, re-caulking, and carpet care
    • the exterior of the property, covering all gates, entrances, garage doors; managing waste collection and removal; curb painting; and oil stain removal from garage surfaces
    • interior common areas such as light fixtures, hallways, windows, ventilation systems, etc.
    • waste management areas, including compactors and electric pallet jacks
    • laundry facilities and associated washer/dryer equipment
    • lobby areas, community spaces, and elevators
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to complete work orders efficiently

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in janitorial and maintenance roles, ideally within a residential or apartment context
  • Proven ability to engage positively and cooperatively with individuals
  • Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in operating cleaning and maintenance tools
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and proof of personal liability insurance
